The Tire Service Technician/mechanic is the backbone of our success and this position is the first step in your journey with 24x7 tireshop and roadsides. We have a commitment to growing our people and we routinely promote from within. Work and perform with tire shop and roadside !
The selection process includes an interview, and background check.
The starting pay for Tire Service Technicians is negotiable. This is a 1099/contractors position.
Hiring for our morning/day shift full time
A Tire Service Technician at 24x7 tire shop and roadside performs the following duties, including but not limited to:
On the road installs -
Installs new tires and wheels
Installs used tires and wheels
Performs maintenance on tires, including rotations, balancing, and repairs(patches plugs, plug/patch combinations)
Participates in training, follows safety procedures, job duties, and company policies
Conducts maintenance and cleaning
Provides helpful, friendly and responsive customer service
Job Requirements Skills and Requirements for Tire Service Technicians:
Must enjoy and excel in a team environment and pass
Must have an upbeat and positive outlook
Must be able to function well in a physically demanding environment
Must be dedicated and reliable
Must be at least 21 years of age or older
Must be able to read, write, count, understand, and speak English
- Certain Mechanic skills a PLUS - brakes / studs / struts / shocks
- Bilingual a plus
Must have valid Texas driver's license and/or ID.
