Position Summary:

The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing staff, overseeing projects, driving sales performance, and ensuring operational excellence. This role requires a leader who combines technical HVAC knowledge with strong business, financial, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

-Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and project management.

-Manage and train field technicians and office personnel.

-Develop and implement business plans to meet company goals.

-Monitor financial performance, budgets, and profit margins.

-Drive sales and marketing initiatives to increase revenue.

-Maintain and improve business systems and workflows.

-Ensure compliance with safety, licensing, and certification requirements.

-Provide mentorship and foster a positive company culture.

-Build strong customer relationships and ensure excellent service.

-Troubleshoot operational issues and ensure timely resolution.

Qualifications & Skills:

-Extensive HVAC industry experience (5+ years preferred).

-Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, installations, and service.

-Proven experience in business operations management.

-Financial acumen and proficiency in accounting and job costing.

-Background in sales and marketing, with a record of achieving growth targets.

-Leadership and team management experience, including hiring and training.

-Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

-Knowledge of industry certifications, current codes, and best practices.

-Ability to create and maintain a positive and productive work environment.

Preferred Certifications:

-EPA Certification

-NATE Certification

-Texas HVAC Contractor’s License (or ability to obtain)
