Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Head Carpenter to lead construction and carpentry operations on-site. The ideal candidate must have hands-on carpentry skills, especially in woodwork and kitchen cabinetry, combined with strong leadership, planning, and communication abilities.
Job Responsibilities:
Carry out and supervise carpentry activities such as roofing, door and window frames, and finishing inside the building.
Build and install kitchen cabinets and other custom woodwork.
Make sure all carpentry work is neat, strong, and well done.
Follow the correct methods, use the right materials, and follow building rules.
Check the quality of work regularly to be sure it matches the project plan.
Make sure all work and materials meet the required standard.
Give daily or weekly updates on the work progress as needed.
Assist with material inventory and other site logistics.
Skills and Qualities Needed:
Must be able to lead a team and keep good order at the site.
Able to speak and write clearly to give instructions and report progress.
Can plan ahead, organize tasks well, and handle many duties without stress.
Must know construction methods, materials, safety rules, and building codes.
Pay attention to detail and always aim for high-quality work.
Able to find and fix problems quickly on site.
Must be honest, reliable, and responsible when working and reporting.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5–7 years of hands-on carpentry experience, including team supervision.
Proven experience in kitchen cabinetry and general woodwork.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Working knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and safety protocols
