Job SummaryThe IT Support Analyst reports to the IT Manager and provides service and support to end users on a variety of hardware and infrastructure issues. It is an individual contributor role with system management and vendor management responsibilities.This position provides technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure. In addition, the position identifies problem, isolates issue if required, runs diagnostic programs and determines and implements the solution.

Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Provides technical assistance and support to users for computer, network, and software related issues
  • Perform technical support that includes installation, maintenance, monitoring, troubleshooting, and administration of network and related products
  • Monitor status of entire network to ensure systems are functioning properly
  • Perform network backups
  • Help order and set up computers for departments as needed
  • Documents, tracks, and monitors problems to ensure timely resolution
  • Maintains Active Directory domain accounts, Office 365 accounts, internet, configuration management, and manufacturing software
  • Support ERP system end user support, backups, report customization and software updates
  • Contact software and hardware vendors to request service regarding defective products
  • Maintain library of all software
  • Maintain Hardware Inventory and related asset aging and replacement plan
  • May train users on software and hardware on site or recommend outside contractors to provide training
  • Research pricing for requisition of network, computer, and software products
  • Provide network cabling, switch, and firewall support
  • Maintain phone system equipment
  • Compose, presents, and follows to completion Engineering Change Notices (ECN)
  • May train others and research, evaluate and recommend products
  • Other tasks, duties and responsibilities as assigned

Education, Experience & Knowledge:
  • Bachelor’s Degree (major in Information Systems) or equivalent education and experience
  • 3 – 5 years related experience and/or training
  • A+ and N+ Certifications a plus
  • SQL experience a plus
  • Software knowledge: MS Office 365, ERP Software, configuration management, Project, and various backup programs, firewall hardware/software and configuration
  • Broad knowledge of business, data processing concepts and overall understanding of business needs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written skills; ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical customer
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds as well as sitting, standing and/or walking for prolonged periods
