Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced person with a valid Journeyman/Journey Plumber License to lead and oversee complex commercial plumbing projects and some residential jobs from inception to completion. The pay will be based on your experience and knowledge. This role offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate multiple teams, manage project timelines, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety on-site. Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and closing of commercial plumbing projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, codes, and safety standards.

Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to establish project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.

Review blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately interpret project requirements and develop effective work plans.

Manage on-site activities including installation of plumbing systems, pipe threading, welding, assembly, remodeling, and maintenance tasks using hand tools and power tools.

Supervise field service operations, ensuring quality workmanship in plumbing, mechanical systems, and general construction tasks.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and address any issues promptly.

Oversee heavy lifting operations and ensure proper use of construction site equipment while maintaining a safe working environment.

Maintain detailed documentation of project progress through reports, logs, incident reports, and compliance records.

Ensure all team members are trained in safety procedures; enforce adherence to OSHA standards and local building codes.

Facilitate schematic reading sessions for team members; interpret technical drawings for accurate installation and troubleshooting.

Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process efficiencies in construction plumbing and related trades.

Skills

Must have your own tools

Proven experience managing commercial construction projects with a focus on plumbing systems.

Valid Journeyman/Journey Plumber License with comprehensive knowledge of construction plumbing techniques.

Strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, mechanical knowledge, and pipe threading processes.

Skilled in welding, assembly work, remodeling projects, maintenance tasks, and maintenance person services within a construction setting.

Proficient in using hand tools (e.g., wrenches, screwdrivers), power tools (e.g., drills), heavy lifting equipment, and construction site machinery.

Ability to read technical schematics accurately; interpret complex blueprints for precise execution.

Excellent field service skills with experience on construction sites involving multiple trades including carpentry and HVAC integration.

Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe sizes or material quantities.

Knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy lifting, scaffolding assembly/remodeling work, & welding safety practices.

Valid commercial driver’s license for transporting materials or equipment between sites.

Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high safety standards.
