Porter - Commercial Buildings

The Commercial Building Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of commercial properties. This position supports daily building operations by ensuring common areas, restrooms, exterior grounds, and tenant spaces remain clean, safe, and presentable at all times.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMonitor and maintain cleanliness of exterior areas including sidewalks, parking lots, and entrywaysReport maintenance issues, safety hazards, vandalism, or damages to management promptlyAssist with building inspections and special cleaning projectsSupport tenant requests and provide excellent customer service when interacting with occupants and visitorsOperate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers safelyFollow company safety policies and OSHA guidelinesAssist maintenance/engineer staff with minor tasks as directed
