What you’ll be doing:Operate as a visual storyteller creating web dashboards for our models and processes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, based on data prepared in SQL Server. The data visualizations you create will help create greater insight into our Cloud estate.

The team you’ll be working in:Enterprise infrastructure powers the future, and provides compute and storage capacity to CLIENT's cloud. It’s our team’s responsibility to help make the cloud more efficient and cost effective for the business sectors who are our customers. We deeply examine myriad metrics and sources of data to model costs, processes, and develop machine learning models that help guide business decisions. An important element of each of those outputs is how the data is represented visually. Your role on the team will be to tell that story in web dashboard visualizations you build using a suite of in-house tools we’ve developed for this purpose.

Technologies you’ll be working with:Experience with Perl or Python is strongly preferred, although utilization of these lower-level languages will be less frequent than the front-end technologies of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that form the bedrock of all user experience on the web. We’d like you to understand revision control, software development best practices, and be able to work with both Windows and Open Source Technologies. Knowledge of databases is going to be key. Crafting basic SQL queries and views will be the way you pull data into your dashboard templates, so you’ll need to be able to understand SQL as well.
