Job Summary:
Prior experience in quarry management is NOT mandatory, allowing fresh perspectives to flourish.
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required, enabling effective leadership across our multilingual team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the quarry, ensuring production targets are met
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among employees
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate activities and achieve company goals
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential hazards or maintenance needs
- Provide leadership and guidance to quarry staff, including training and development opportunities
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Quarry Manager or similar role in the mining industry
- Knowledge of MSHA regulations and best practices for safety in a mining environment
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff
