Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are inviting applications for a Credit Clerk in CARROLLTON, Texas. This role is in the telecom industry and offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. The position is primarily onsite and involves handling accounts payable tasks, with a strong emphasis on data entry and invoice processing. Responsibilities: Process and handle data entry related to accounts payable Process freight invoices accurately and efficiently Maintain accurate records of customer credit applications Regularly monitor customer credit accounts to ensure timely payments Resolve customer inquiries related to credit accounts Utilize Microsoft Excel for account reconciliation and other tasks Ensure all credit-related tasks adhere to industry standards and company policies Collaborate with the team to streamline the accounts payable process Actively contribute to the overall efficiency of the accounts payable function. Requirements Proficiency in Account Reconciliation procedures and practices. Familiarity and experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes. Demonstrated skills in Data Entry, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Experience in Invoice Processing, with the ability to manage high volumes of invoices accurately. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and other advanced functions.
