Works under limited supervision with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.Requisition ID:38579BRTravel Required:NoneMajor/Essential Functions:The Administrator for the Title V Grant will play a vital role in overseeing all business and financial functions related to the grant. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal and institutional policies, managing budgets, coordinating financial reporting, and providing administrative support to the grant team. The Administrator will work closely with the Senior Director and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth operation of the grant's financial aspects and to support the achievement of grant objectives.
Financial Oversight and Reporting (50%):
Provide comprehensive financial management for the Title V Grant, including maintaining and updating financial records, processing paperwork, and ensuring compliance with federal requirements.
Prepare, update, and submit departmental, divisional, and federal expense reports regularly.
Develop, monitor, and report on budgets, including travel, procurement, and salary reports for the Director and department.
Travel Coordination and Processing (20%):
Meet with staff regarding travel funding, policies, and purchasing of supplies and materials.
Research and coordinate individual and group travel arrangements, ensuring all processes comply with grant and institutional guidelines.
Administrative Support (20%):
Coordinate hiring, onboarding and exit processes for all staff associated with the grant.
Provide general administrative support as needed.
Event and Program Support (10%):
Assist in the planning and execution of activities such as workshops, and other departmental events.
Supervise students as necessary.

Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel), Cognos Reporting, and TechBuy.
Experience with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding staff.
Supervision experience and a background in budgeting and purchasing.
The position requires effective communication, problem-solving, and the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple responsibilities.
Experience with financial management, budgeting, and reporting, especially in a grant-funded environment.
Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines.
