Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RIS) is growing! We have an immediate opportunity for a Principal Specialist for Engineering Services. Duties will include the coordination and support of the Engineering Lab M&TE (Measuring and Test Equipment) assets to include equipment rentals, calibration scheduling, repairs, maintenance, chemicals, tracking, consumables, and all required activities for the RIS Engineering Labs. This role will require the utilization of all Raytheon’s support systems for recall, tracking, ordering and logistics. Along with equipment support and maintenance, this position will have additional duties to follow security procedures, safety and housekeeping in all labs and support the SI&S internal audits, Corporate, DCMA audits and EHS audits. This position will assist Engineering Lab Management and Programs to ensure the equipment, services and suppliers are available to support Customers targeted deliverable timelines, and other duties as assigned. There will be daily interaction between Lab Management, Programs, Quality, Supply Chain and Logistics to perform the support needed for our current asset base. Additional duties will include assisting Lab Management in maintaining the run rules and applicable Raytheon Technologies policies within the labs, ensuring compliance with Safety, Quality controls, Six Sigma (6S), Foreign Object Debris (FOD)/Foreign Object Elimination (FOE) Programs, Equipment Calibration, Raytheon Property Controls, Electrostatic Sensitive Device controls (ESD), Housekeeping, Shelf-life Controls, Preventative Maintenance, and Ergonomics. Explore RI&S: Raytheon Intelligence & Space (https://www.raytheonintelligenceandspace.com/) Required Skills: Minimum of 5+ years of experience working with test equipment, manufacturing/operations, or in a test development environment Provide equipment support and services to meet productivity, quality, Lab and Programs satisfaction Manage reporting, monitoring and resources Work with multidisciplinary teams Support Engineers and Programs to help meeting deliverables and timelines Knowledgeable of Lab Safety and Six Sigma (6S) Quality processes regarding test equipment calibration requirements and AS 9100/ISO 9001 audits Manage the logistics of various RI&S competing contract requirements U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems. Desired Skills: Asset Management Systems experience (Aramis, PRISM, HAAS, and UPS) Working Knowledge of lab or manufacturing run rules, policies, and procedures Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project) U.S. Citizenship status is required.
