DOT Delivery Driver

Under general supervision, the DOT Delivery Driver loads the truck and delivers chemicals to the customer location in a safe manner following all laws, company policies, and customer policies. This position will ensure that the truck is in good working order by completing the pre-trip inspection, maintaining up to date logs and timesheets, as well as ensuring the shipping documents and all vehicle documents are current within the delivery truck.Delivers totes and drums of hazardous and nonhazardous materials from warehouse to customer locationsPump chemistry from totes on truck into chemical makeup tanks on customer locationsMay perform minor maintenance to truck and will keep truck clean and washedDriver is responsible for forklift operations / ensuring that the load is secured and ensuring that the bills of lading and shipping documents are documented properlyDriver will deliver parts and materials as neededKnowledge of precautions needed if exposed to H2S (hydrogen sulfide)Experience performing warehouse duties, which include preventative maintenance, inventory and ordering of chemicals, receiving incoming shipments, organizing warehouse for safe and efficient chemical storage and the upkeep of warehouse and laydown yardAwareness of chemical safety and the measures to take in the event of skin contact or spillRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredClass A CDL with Hazardous Materials endorsementIn-depth knowledge of DOT regulations and handling of hazardous material1-3 years of truck driving experienceWilling to attain and maintain forklift certificationBenefitsCompensation : $25 - $30 / hourMajor medical, dental, and vision for employee and dependents401(k) retirement plan with employer matchCellular Reimbursement - $100 / monthWorkman’s Comp.Short-Term, Long-Term Disability, and Life InsuranceHourly Paid Sick Leave
