Now Hiring: Food Truck Cook / Operator
We’re starting a food truck that’ll serve hot meals for workers staying in a local housing complex here in Big Spring. We’ll be serving breakfast and dinner every day for around 30 people — simple, hearty meals that keep folks going strong.
What You’ll Do:
Cook breakfast (ready by 5 AM) and dinner (ready by 4 PM) each day
Come up with daily or weekly meal plans (we’ll cover food costs)
Shop for groceries and keep track of supplies
Keep the food truck clean and organized
Make sure meals are on time and people are fed well
What We’re Looking For:
Someone reliable, early-rising, and steady
Must have or be willing to get a Food Handler’s Permit within 2 weeks
Cooking or food prep experience is a big plus
You can work solo or team up with someone you trust
Pay:
$1,000 per week total pay — for one person, or $1,500 split between two if you want to work as a team (for example, one person runs breakfast, the other runs dinner).
