The Small Business (SMB) Product domain within Chase Merchant Services is focused on key payment solution initiatives that will deliver our new terminal and point-of-sale products suites to our merchants while improving their servicing experience, and that of our internal stakeholders. The Product Manager for Canadian SMB Product Suite will be focused on a variety of products including;Partner Applications on Class A Terminals

Partner Solutions including Chase ecommerce offerings and Chase mobile solutions

Class A Terminals

Other solutions as defined by SMB Product Strategy

Payment Network Mandates

The Product Manager must be well versed in industry practices and with the Canadian merchant market. The candidate will be responsible for understanding market needs, translating these market ideas into requirements, and working with business, IT and/or vendors, to launch new solutions or enhance existing solutions. In addition, the successful candidate will possess a solid understanding of Chase internal processes and procedures.Essential Responsibilities and DutiesPossesses strong knowledge of product suite; works with SMB Product Leaders, Marketing & Partnership teams to contribute in the development of the product roadmap

Contributes and adheres to SMB product roadmap and ensures releases are aligned with forecasted dates.

Manages Third Party application providers, Ecommerce and Mobile partners to ensure they deliver value add solutions to SMB Product Suite

Provides support to Commercialization, Field Readiness and other internal teams to ensure all collateral is accurate and relevant

Provides oversight to partners and internal support teams during client escalations

Host partner meetings on a regular basis to socialize Chase roadmap and timelines

Acts as SME and participates in events to share knowledge

Participates in SMB Product Intake sessions and adheres to Chase Merchant Services Product Methodology

Presents at Intake, BIA: responsible for writing all entries and providing artifacts as required

Enters detailed JIRA Initiatives and complies to SMB Agile Program

Secures PMO resources as needed

Provides to support for other SMB Product initiatives, as required

Reviews and assesses payment network mandates to determine relevancy and impacts to Solutions.

Works closely with SMB Product Specialists and supports testing and pilot initiatives.

Works with cross functional partners to ensure compliance with product controls and risk

Product ReleasesSupports the Product Owner and/or Domain owner on the appropriate implementation and deployment plans for new releases. Participate and assist with facilitating in major application releases and perform product validationsInterface with IT and quality assurance teams in product development phase to track issues and defects

Assists Product Management with the administration, monitoring and support of product betas and/or pilots.

Assists in the creation in user manuals, specification documents, and supplemental guides for POS products

Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 5+ years in product development or technology role with product exposure 5-7+ years experience in payments industry required; merchant acquiring preferred 5-10+ years experience with modern technology stacks, including cloud, big data, micro services, API's, etc. Proven track record of managing a product end-to-end Strong ability to analyze issues & problems, recommend solutions, and communicate effectively & confidently (both verbal and written) Ability to productively work in a matrix management organization Positive, team-oriented attitude Travel requirement: less than 50%JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
