Contract Drafting and ReviewDraft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including transportation agreements, warehousing contracts, service agreements, and vendor contractsEnsure that contracts are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations and reflect the best interferes of the companyRisk ManagementIdentify potential legal risks and provide proactive advice and solutions to mitigate themDevelop and implement strategies to protect the company’s interests and minimize legal exposureRegulatory ComplianceStay updated on federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to logistics, transportation, and warehouse managementProvide guidance and support to ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, including DOT, FMCSA, OSRA and othersLegal ResearchConduct legal research to stay current with evolving legal trends and industry-specific issuesTranslate legal findings into actionable recommendations for the companyDispute ResolutionAssist in the resolution of disputes, including contract disputes, claims, and litigation mattersCollaborate with outside counsel when necessaryPerform other duties as assigned or neededWork across time zones and cultures with a cross-functional group of stakeholdersAssist with ad-hoc or special projects as requestedSalary: 110K - 150k
