You will be part of our platform engineering team owning the release management process from development to production. You will have opportunity to collaborate with dedicated software engineers working towards a singular goal of building outstanding Software for accelerating nextGen Facilities Management process. Strong development process knowledge, communication and collaborator management is a must-have for this role

What we do

Build cloud native applications applying Open source and Microsoft technologies across multiple cloud platforms.

Modernize monolith legacy applications to highly scalable distributed applications on microservices based architecture and deploy them on cloud platforms.

Complete projects on Agile standard methodologies and accept the Devops culture across the software delivery lifecycle

Build and develop integration frameworks for 3rd party vendor applications.

Design and implement new features/applications based on industry standards.

Create modern, responsive web applications to provide real-estate services to our internal and external clients.

Develop and distribute Mobile apps built on native or react native architecture for both iOS and Android platforms.

Implement Continuous Security, Integration, Deployment & Monitoring for the software products

Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Schedule, plan and control the software’s development and delivery procedure.
  • Understand the different environments available across the SDLC and arrange a flawless, observable, and automated code promotion and delivery process to production.
  • Work with technical, product, operations, and customer success partners to manage the overall release process.
  • Definite strategic use of release management tools to harness successful outcomes from the code release.
  • Work with the technical team (Dev, DevOps and DevSecOps) for both strategic and tactical design for continual integration, test and release processes
  • Lead the T-Minus process for the software release by facilitating a healthy collaboration between the technical teams as well as product stakeholders for successful deployments.
  • Develop and Maintain process documentation for the SDLC and the software release to production.
  • Provide recommendations on changes and design enhancements to improve reliability, security, processes and performance

Technical skills

Proven exposure of 7-10 years in software design, development, and deployment processes.

Must have grounding on the devops processes and tool chain that make up for Continuous Integration and Deployment - Example: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab etc.

Strong understanding of Git based Code management process as well as ability to design various branching strategies based on the SDLC requirements.

Excellent verbal and communication skills - ability to effectively exchange and influence ideas for positive outcome.

Solid analytical and organizational skills - ability to plan and achieve a variety of tasks. Able to set priorities for client requests and deal with several issues concurrently.

Build and contribute to our organizational culture that achieves a well-designed system through a commitment to learning and continuous improvement.

Strong solid understanding on Event Driven systems and technologies like Kafka and Rabbit MQ.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Bonus/Nice to have:

Experience with Postgres and MongoDB databases.

Test Automation experience.

Education and experience

Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field such as information systems, mathematics, or computer science or equivalent work experience. Requires technical and business knowledge in multiple fields/processes as well as leadership experience. Typically has 7-10 years of relevant work experience. Consideration given to equivalent combination of education and experience.

Communication skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.

Reasoning ability

Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret sophisticated documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires breakthrough analytical and quantitative skills.
