HIRING NOW PAYING $24This is an in office position located in Round Rock.Description:POSITION TITLE: Material & Service BuyerREPORTS TO: Vice President of Strategic Supply ChainGENERAL DESCRIPTION:Under the direct supervision of the National Fire & Safety VP of Strategic Supply Chain, the Material & Service Buyer will assist and coordinate daily functions of the purchasing department.ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS/DUTIES: Salesforce knowledge is preferred but not required Knowledge of the Fire & Safety Industry is a plus Adheres to purchasing policies, processes, and procedures as set forth by the corporate Supply Chain Department Placement of Purchase Orders through the Salesforce software system for both Service and Construction Coordination and follow-through of all purchase orders placed and communication to field as needed on ETA’s of materials Coordination of material deliveries to job sites and warehouse between suppliers and the field Coordinates receiving paperwork from the field to the accounting team Updates and communicates daily to the internal team all material receiving dates Assist with inventory management as assigned by VP of SSC Other duties as assigned or requested as they pertain to Supply Chain and ProcurementExperience Level: High School Diploma required, Associates or Bachelors degree preferred 1-3 years of purchasing related experience or demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above-mentioned tasks Experience with inventory and purchase order MRP systems a plus Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance On site position only – not remote Must have intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Etc.)About Aston Carter: At Aston Carter, we’re dedicated to expanding career opportunities for the skilled professionals who power our business.
