Make an Extraordinary Impact.The Licensed Vocational Nurse – Paragon Infusion Centers is responsible for the examination and treatment of patients under the direction of the physician.How You Will Make an ImpactPrimary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Reviews patient medical records, interviews patients and measures vital signs.
Explains procedures, performs treatments, and administers prescribed medication.
Prepares treatment room; assists physician with procedures; cleans and sterilizes equipment.
Performs venipuncture, draws labs, inserts and removes IV catheters.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires an LPN or LVN and minimum of 2 years of experience as an LPN/LVN; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Current LPN/LVN license in the applicable state required.
For Carelon Health business unit, satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Valid BLS Certification highly preferred.
