We have over 65,000 employees and a presence in virtually every country around the world to address some of the most challenging global health issues.POSITION SCOPEReporting to the Lead/Supervisor, for the Order Management Team, the EDI Order Management Specialist is responsible for resolving customer EDI ordering issues to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. The Specialist must have superior organizational and multi-tasking skills and broad knowledge of business processes. Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with both internal and external technical and non-technical groups and have demonstrated presentation and documentation skills. The candidate should be self-motivating and able to work independently while sharing knowledge and mentoring other team members. Ensures all departmental objectives, metrics, and measures are achieved. This role will help promote the growth and adoption of best-in-class operational processes for the organization.RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure policy adherence, order accuracy, service, and quality interactions, and that all department measurements are met. Follow established procedures, practices, and policies for Department and for the Quality System. Ensure adherence to regulatory business and department guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Using data and provide feedback to identify opportunities and implement programs to increase EDI touchless order capabilities.
Aim to development needs through coaching, mentoring, and direct feedback so associate development meets current and future organization needs.
Working with internal and external customers to increase EDI touchless ordering while meeting all established metrics and KPIs.
Ensure EDI orders are fixed and released in alignment with SLAs to ensure no customer or BD operations impact.
Managing your workload responsibilities are in alignment with department and corporate policies and procedures
Escalating items to management that may have a negative impact on our internal and external customers
Create requests in appropriate databases to support customer orders such as new customer account set up, customer pricing, etc
Identify and coordinate resolution of any issues that may negatively affect customer satisfaction
Review orders received for accuracy and completeness, confirm and/or correct customer orders
Meet or exceed established order accuracy and turn around time standards
Handle all customer contacts in a professional and courteous manner
Compose accurate, prompt and appropriate replies to all customer contacts
Handle all complaints according to FDA regulations governing medical devices
Participate in other projects as required
Participate in and contribute to team meetings
Provide support to other team members as needed
Identify continuous improvement opportunities and provide feedback for process improvement
POSITION REQUIREMENTSEXPERIENCE:Minimum of 1 year experience with ERP system(s)
1 + years of business related experience required
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role (export, logistics, order management, customer service) - preferred
Minimum of 2 years' prior experience in a related industry (i.e., medical device, healthcare supply chain, pharmaceutical) - preferred

EDUCATION:A high school diploma or equivalent - required
