– Compassionate Care: Engage clients with warmth and respect, supporting their hobbies, social activities, and personal interests. Facilitate social and entertaining activities.
– Nutritious Meal Preparation: Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and food preparation, tailored to each client’s dietary needs and Individualized Service Plan (ISP).
– Light Housekeeping: Keep clients’ frequented living spaces clean and comfortable, from kitchen upkeep to laundry and organization.
– Personal Assistance Services: Offer sensitive support with personal grooming, hygiene, and daily living activities, all while ensuring the utmost dignity for our clients. ISP compliance.
– Safety First Approach: Adhere to all safety, infection control, and handwashing requirements, including COVID-19 protocols, to safeguard yourself and those you care for.
– Medication Reminders: Provide reminders for pre-dosed medications under the supervision and training of a registered nurse, as permitted.
Requirements:
-A compassionate and caring demeanor. Autonomy and high level of self-motivation.
-Health Conscious: Comply with screenings and immunization requirements, including COVID-19 precautions. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving.
-Schedule: Adaptable, flexibility to complete assignments within the shift, with potential for extenuating circumstances.
-Driving and Transportation: Have a valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current insurance, with the option to add employer.
-Commitment to ongoing training and adherence to Employee Policies.
Clean Background: Pass a thorough background check and provide excellent references.
Certifications: CPR/First Aid certification.
Training and Evaluation:
– Participate in training opportunities throughout the year, which are a required aspect of employment.
– Performance: Service feedback, adherence to policies, professionalism and growth will be reviewed quarterly and on annual evaluations.
