We are seeking skilled and dedicated HVAC Duct Installers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, and maintaining ductwork systems that ensure optimal airflow and ventilation in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, experience with HVAC systems, and the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings. Responsibilities
Measure, cut, assemble, and install ductwork according to project specifications and schematics, ensuring precise fit and function.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to execute installations accurately.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and troubleshoot issues.
Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for duct fabrication when necessary.
Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols during all phases of installation.
Conduct routine inspections of installed duct systems to identify leaks or deficiencies; perform necessary adjustments or repairs.
Assist in the maintenance of HVAC equipment, boilers, and air conditioning systems when required.
Support field service operations by providing timely repairs and troubleshooting mechanical or refrigeration issues on-site.
Utilize plumbing knowledge for integrating ductwork with plumbing systems where applicable.
Requirements
Proven experience in construction with a focus on HVAC duct installation or related mechanical fields.
Service technician experience working with HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, or appliance repair is highly desirable.
Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans.
Strong mechanical knowledge including familiarity with plumbing, refrigeration systems, boilers, and ammonia refrigeration.
Experience with equipment repair, welding techniques, and maintenance of HVAC components.
Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively.
Knowledge of property maintenance practices related to air conditioning systems and general building ventilation.
Additional skills in welding, boiler operation, or mechanic experience will be considered advantageous.
