We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Individual to join our amazing team here at Walmart.Position requirements: To qualify for this role, the candidate must meet state requirements to work as a Certified Pharmacy Technician, must be currently certified as a pharmacy technician (on the PTCB website or the NHA website) and must be registered on the Texas State Board of Pharmacy website. 

Compensation details:Pay starts $19.50 - 21.50 based on experience.Plus $2 shift differential for 2nd shift

Work Schedule:1st shift: Amenable to work an 8-hour shift between 6:00 AM-6:00 PM (Full-Time only)2nd shift Amenable to work an 8-hour shift between 3:00 PM-3:00 AM (Full-Time and Part-Time)Primary set schedule is offered.

Schedules are subject to change to meet business need and due to associate availability.

Must have flexibility to work any day during the week between shift availability times as needed for facility holiday closures, training, and overtime.Job Duties include: Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies as prescribed by physicians.Process prescriptions, including counting, bottling, packaging, labeling, and recording medication dosages.Receive and process prescriptions, including entering prescription information into computer system and verifying accuracy.Perform inventory control, including stocking and re-stocking medications and supplies, removing expired items, and reporting on inventory levels.Answer phone calls, manage customer queries and forward complex queries to the pharmacist.Process insurance claims and manage payments.Comply with all security measures and quality standards of pharmaceutical care.Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, including storing and disposing of medications and supplies properly.Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient care and pharmacy operations.Key Skills and Competencies: Knowledge of medication and dosage measurement.Proficiency in managing inventory.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Basic computer skills for maintaining records and creating reports.Understanding of health and safety regulations.Physical Requirements:Moves, lifts, carries, and places merchandise and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.Stands for long periods of time.Grasps, turns, and manipulates objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.Reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.Location: Clinic Pharmacy #2670 - 608 Spring Hl Dr 3 Ste 300, Spring, TX 77386
