The ideal candidate will have Blueprint Reading, Welding concepts and Attention to Detail which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Welder, Flux CoreLocation: Terrell, TXPay Range: $20 - $25What’s the Job?
Weld structural steel in all positions. Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using tape measures, straightedges, combination squares, clamps, and other tools as required.
Read and understand Welding Procedure Sheets. Select welding wires, gases, and settings for process.
Prep material for fabrication per drawings and weld symbols, including grinding, flame cutting, or other methods.
Confirm parts are acceptable for use prior to fitting and welding, and that requirements are met after completion of work – by use of drawings and completion of checklists.
Recognize, set up, and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade.
What’s Needed?
At least 6 months previous experience
Ability to read blueprints
Ability to use and read a tape measure
Stable work history
