Position Summary:Responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of the annual revenue and expense operating budgets and the development and execution of long-term financial goals.Directs the day-to-day business and finance operations ensuring alignment with the UT Health strategic plan and the objectives of the OB/GYN department.Essential Functions
Creates and submits pro forma for new and acquired physicians, physician practices, new services and clinical expansions.
Responsible for reporting and analysis; creates clinical scorecards and reports for senior administration, OB/GYN Operations, and other services lines within UT Health, including operations reports outlining current physician productivity, overall monthly status of the physician's practice, and other reports intended to streamline UT data for various projects
Participates in the preparation of short-term and long-range clinical plans and budgets based on overall goals and growth objectives; creates in depth net revenue and expense models; analyzes data and creates metrics to develop the OB/GYN clinical budget
Manages the clinical month end close out duties, including analysis of budget variances and expense improvement opportunities
May act as a designated responsible party for financial reporting for the clinical departments.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Certification/Skills:
Must possess strong managerial, financial, and analytical skills.
Must have strong organizational and planning skills and the ability to prioritize work
Must be detail oriented with good analytical skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks independently
Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, databases, etc.)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with representatives of client organizations, business leaders, and staff in a tactful and positive manner.
Minimum Education:Bachelor's Degree Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Healthcare Administration required
