We are seeking a kind, patient, and trustworthy caregiver to work with an elderly African-American woman.
The caregiver should be able to come in Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for 3 hours each day. The exact hours can be somewhat flexible, but should be in the morning or afternoon.
The caregiver will be responsible for light housekeeping, running the dishwasher, taking out the trash, light meal preparation, and other needed tasks, but the caregiver should also be comfortable spending most of each shift providing general conversation and companionship.
Pay is $15/hour paid weekly. This position will be as an independent contractor, so the caregiver will not receive benefits and will not have taxes taken out of their pay.
This position will start the first week of November. If it feels comfortable for everyone after a 3 month trial, we will increase the hours.
