Starting pay $15/hour OR $18/hour with 2 years' experience in retail garden center operations
When:
4 days a week 8:30 to 6:00pm + Sunday Noon to 5:00pm (Off Tuesday & Wednesday).
Schedule does not change often, so you can usually rely on these hours.
Our expectations are that you will be reliable, prompt, helpful.
Starting pay is $15/hour OR $18/hour with 2 years' + experience in retail garden center operations.
Tasks:
Cashier and sales.
Help unloading shipments.
Pricing & stocking.
Maintaining displays.
Other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
Cashier and selling experience required.
Outdoorsy, outgoing, teamwork.
Ability to lift 25 Lb. bags of fertilizer.
Advanced knowledge of plants + flowers + lawn care is preferable.
Ability to work outside in the heat of summer.
Most of our nursery is under shade cloth.
You must be able to take direction.
You must be respectful to our customers & your co-workers.
Disqualifications:
No felony convictions.
Nooo lazy people.
We expect our team members might miss 3 or 4 days a year, not 3 or 4 days a month.
No, you may not have this Friday off.
