Manual Software QA EngineerAnywhere, US6 -12 month contract (possible conversion or extension)Pay Range: $25.00 - $40.00per hrJob Description:Our client is building out a large Manual Software Testing team for a large software overhaul project. They are looking for several Manual QA Testers experienced in testing C#/.NET/SQL applications. In this role you will primarily be creating, executing, and documenting quality assurance manual test plans/cases specifically to web and software products. Experience with automated and Postman is a bonus. This is for a large 12 -18 month project so converting to a full-time employee or extending on contract is highly likely.Required Skills:- 1- 4 years of Manual QA on web applications experience
- Familiarity with the .NET and SQL Server development environments
- Should have experience in requirements analysis
- Knowledge of the SDLC concepts
- Proficient in all Microsoft business productivity tools i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- QA policies, processes, procedures, methodologies, lifecycles, etc., in contributing to all project deliverables and "zero defect standards
- Ability to create and track detailed software bugs/defects in tracking systems (Jira, TestRail, etc.)
- Microservices experience
- Experience with establishing testing environments preferred
- Familiarity with MLM industry preferred
- Knowledge of project management skills including the use of project management software/tools.
- Experience using modern user interfaces and operating systems like Windows, MAC, Android, and iOS
- Basic programming fundamentals
- Basic/advanced script/code manipulation to test/debug different functionalities of code
- Agile QA best practices creating test plans, suites, cases, etc
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in general business and technical environments
