Sr. Technical WriterSalt Lake City, UTDirect HirePay Range: $90K - $110K Job Description: Our client is looking for a Sr. Technical Writer highly experienced in working in the SAAS Product Development space. Experience working with internal and external customers to build technical usage documentation for cloud or cyber security products is a HUGE bonus. You will also be taking on a LEAD position and assisting with building out a Technical writing team of up to 7 so leadership/mentoring qualities and experience is highly desirable. You'll be creating easy-to-understand API references, integration guides, message sequence diagrams, and everything in between.You will be the onsite Technical Writing Subject Matter Expert in this role, so the ability to make technology usage recommendations and implementing those changes within the enterprise will be required Required Skills:- 5+ years of hands-on Technical Writing experience for SAAS Products
- Experience working closely with Software Product Development teams
- Experience working for a Cyber Security, IT, or B2B Software Company
- Experience working with development teams, UX leads, product managers, and end users
- Proven ability to translate highly technical information in to digestible formats for users
- Ability to own documentation, education, and evangelization strategyfor technical products
- Must be able to write exceptionally clean copy (with a portfolio)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced company with high editorial standards
- Has built and/or led the development of technical writing teams in the past
- Proficient with DITA and XML authoring
- Experience with Adobe AEM(open to changing direction on this if recommended)
