We are the Public Website team, and we develop and maintain the public facing websites for Zions. We are looking for a Frontend (or Full Stack) Software Engineer. You’ll learn, understand and then make contributions for our projects under the guidance of senior engineers. Things you'll do:
Develop web applications utilizing modern JavaScript frameworks and Java for Zions websites with a focus on frontend development.
Assist in designing and implementing features and functionalities.
Conduct website testing with QA engineers.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving website problems.
Help in creating and maintaining software documentation.
Qualifications:
Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Software Development Background (preferably in JavaScript, html, CSS, jQuery and Java).
Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
A good team player with integrity, initiative and accountability.
Basic understanding of distributed systems, data structures, design principles, and algorithms.
Basic understanding of Adobe Experience Manager or similar content management systems is a plus.
