AECOM is seeking a Traffic Intern to be based in Murray, Utah.This position is expected to begin in May 2026.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Internships are designed to introduce and build essential, hands-on skills that differ from those attained in the academic arena and help to enhance the transition from student to professional.Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded leaning experience within transportation engineering.Interns in traffic operations will perform VISSIM and Synchro traffic modeling and be trained in operational analysis.Projects may require a crash history analysis using safety performance functions and crash modification factors, using methods like the Highway Safety Manual.Interns interested in transportation design will utilized MicroStation and Civil 3D AutoCAD for design of roadways, trails, or light rail projects.
