We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef with experience in Thai cuisine to lead culinary operations in a dynamic hospitality environment. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, and sous chefs
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards and customer expectations
Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe working environment
Monitor kitchen performance metrics and implement improvements for efficiency and consistency
Train staff on food handling procedures, safety protocols, and culinary techniques
Collaborate with management on budgeting, staffing schedules, and operational planning
Maintain excellent customer service standards during food service periods
Requirements
Proven experience in casual fine dining establishments, preferably with Thai cuisine but willing to train the right candidate
Strong background in food production, menu planning, and kitchen management within the food industry
Extensive culinary experience including cooking techniques, food safety practices, and dietary considerations
Leadership skills with experience managing teams in high-pressure environments
Knowledge of inventory management, control procedures, and cost optimization strategies
Excellent communication skills to lead staff effectively and collaborate with other departments
Certification or training in food safety is highly desirable
