EO/AAThis position provides leadership and management for the organization's Mammography team. This role serves to consult, advise, and recommend best practices within the specialty in an effort to improve the overall patient experience and reduce cost to both the patient and the organization. The incumbent manages the operations and strategic planning of human resources, patient services, and financial management for their assigned specialty area. The incumbent will coordinate and strategically align their team with the PROMISE standards set forth by organizational leadership and provide insight into a variety of patient experience outcomes, making recommendations for improving performance as it relates to the service line. This position will also collaborate with multiple levels of leadership across the organization to ensure continuity and quality of service. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Clinical Radiology Operations. Responsible to provide staff feedback on performance, including on-time appraisals and coaching.

Responsible to deal with conflicts in a proactive manner and to reach resolution in a timely manner.

Building Relationships

Forms positive relationships with staff, peers, and senior leadership to support the mission, vision, values, and performance standards of the organization.

Actively engages staff with updates and news as well as involving staff in decisions and work teams. Provides feedback and recognition when appropriate.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

Demonstrated leadership, human relations, and effective communication skills.

Knowledge of health care business operations and demonstrated operational planning skills.

Knowledge of budgeting practices, reporting analysis, and forecasting.

Knowledge of information technology, Epic, Business Objects, scheduler, and other efficiency tools.

QualificationsQualifications Required

Bachelor's degree in a related field, or the equivalency.

Four (4) years of progressively more responsible leadership and strategic planning experience.

Licenses Required

Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist for Mammography, R.T. (M) (ARRT).

Current licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of Utah.

Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system. The eCredential is to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Additional license requirements as determined by the hiring department.Qualifications (Preferred)Preferred

Master's degree in a related area, or the equivalency.

Operations management experience in a health care setting.
