Seeking a personal assistant to help a wheelchair-bound attorney and his spouse who both telecommute from home.
Duties include: preparation of breakfast and lunch; housecleaning; laundry; minor office work; driving wheelchair accessible minivan to certain appointments or errands; occasional work in the yard, and other light duties. At times may need to assist the wheelchair-bound individual with adjustments to clothing, shoes, wheelchair, and basic grooming such as combing hair, brushing teeth, etc.
Hours worked can be flexible, but typically Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM until 1 PM. Wage is $13 per hour and is paid through a professional payroll company. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, be a US citizen or have a workers permit, and may be subject to a background check.
This would be a great job for a stay-at-home parent whose kids are in school, a college student (we are located near SLCC Redwood campus), or someone interested in gaining experience in the legal field.
