ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:
Wash, cut and/or cook vegetables, fruits and meats to prepare for use in salad bar
Prepares and arranges necessary product for salads according to recipe and garnishes using hand and electric food service equipment.
Uses prep lists to determine production for the day and prepares ingredients.
Maintains a fresh and attractive salad bar as well as the organization and cleanliness of the salad bar and prep area.
Set up of Salad Bar, cleans equipment, work area, utensils, and refrigerator.
Prep for the next day
Daily set up of Salad Bar according to diagram
Monitor Salad Bar continuously throughout the day, to maintain appropriate amount of product and cleanliness.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Frequent bending and stooping
Working by standing and walking the entire shift
Excellent organizational and verbal communication skills are a must
Working in a noisy, busy, and congested environment
Requires repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs. throughout the day
Must be able to read and extend standards recipes
