The Barbershop and Back Bar are looking for a part time bartender/social media/desk assistant.
Responsibilities include:
-Tending bar, responsibly serving guests, mixing drinks, checking guest's IDs, building cheese plates, serving snacks.
-Opening and closing cash register procedures.
-Set up and break down of the bar area
-Answering the phone and booking appointments for guests
-Assisting with social media posts for Instagram, Facebook
-Taking good looking photos to post
-Working with Marketing Director to come up with fun contests, drink specials, and seasonal cocktails
-Managing guest inquiries through email and social media outlets
-Checking out guests and handling credit card/cash transactions
Requirements include:
-1 year bartending experience
-Valid Vermont Division of Liquor Control Certification
-Social Media savviness
-Customer service experience
-Sense of humor and friendly fun personality
-Salon/Barbershop experience/interest is a plus but not necessary
Hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 3pm-8pm and Saturday 10am-4pm. Additional hours may be added in the future. Please send your resume and one reference. We look forward to hearing from you!
