Responsibilities Include:
Planting, care & maintenance of seasonal plants including unrooted cuttings, rooted cuttings and seeded annuals.
Watering daily & training others to water.
Pesticide Applicators License Required – Will pay for education & license for the right employee.
Fertilizing & IPM knowledge desired.
Ability to work with and direct other employees.
Requires working inside & outside of greenhouses in hot weather.
Work is physically demanding requiring workers to stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of time. Workers must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis.
May require working 6 days per week in season.
Workers must be able to take direction in English.
Experience Preferred, will train a capable motivated person.
