Join Home Base Inc. in supporting an older woman with developmental disabilities as a Shared-Living Provider. We are seeking someone who owns a home (preferably in/around Burlington/Shelburne area) with an extra bedroom on the first floor. This woman lives semi-independently (can be alone for up to 3 hours at a time) and receives community supports from Home Base staff. At home, she enjoys relaxing and keeping to herself but also values company and conversation.
Generous tax-exempt monthly stipend and room and board payment for opening your home and providing care for this woman. Training and ongoing support provided.
The ideal candidate will:
Own their home and have a first-floor bedroom available
Exhibit patience and kindness to assist this woman in living a life that makes her feel fulfilled
Provide assistance with grocery shopping, meal & medication prep, home care.
