The Senior Technical Advisor/Subject Matter Expert role will be located in Rosslyn, VA.Position Description:- Supports the secure adoption of new technologies and evaluates/analyzes the security of emerging technology at the enterprise level.
- Focuses on ensuring data is securely stored and transmitted across varying infrastructures and information systems and promotes interagency collaboration on cybersecurity issues.
- Provide Cloud, wireless, and mobile security expertise, device assessment, vulnerability analysis, and risk mitigation services.
- Research and formulate open source software innovations integration in support of network modernization efforts using industry best practices for cost efficiency solutions.
- Perform security reviews of official change requests for various control boards.
- Provide subject matter expertise on security configuration issues in meetings with IRM.
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 9 years' experience required. An additional 6 years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- Active Top Secret security clearance is required with the ability to obtain SCI.
- Has skills and expertise to design and define system architecture for new or existing complex computer systems.
- Has expertise to determine systems specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility and maintenance of system security.
- Can successfully coordinate design of subsystems and integration of total system.
- Identifies, analyzes, and able to resolve program support deficiencies.
- Proven ability to develop and recommend corrective actions.
- Possess CASP+ CE, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, or CCNP Security certification.
