The Civil Engineer will be expected to travel between our facilities in Chantilly, VA and Springfield, VA. This position is expected to be onsite 100%. What You’ll DoAs a Civil Engineer, you will:
Studies, designs, specs, and services transportation systems (i.e., road, rail, airport, seaport), bridges, infrastructure, drainage, underground utilities, hydrology/hydraulics, water treatment and distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, water resources and raw water supply, tunnels, geotechnical design, and other civil engineering works.
Functions as a technical specialist who makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and have a far-reaching impact on extensive engineering and related activities.
Negotiates critical and controversial issues with top-level engineers and officers of other organizations and companies.
Performs advisory and consulting work for the organization as a recognized authority for broad program areas or in an intensely specialized area.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Must have a US TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance.
Must have a minimum of a BA/BS in Engineering.
Must have a minimum of ten years of civil engineering experience.
Must have a PE-Civil license.
