Southern Albemarle County estate property is hiring an experienced lead landscape professional. Qualified candidates will have knowledge of grass / turf management, maintenance of boxwoods and other plants, and local seasonal best landscaping practices. Duties include mowing, edging, fertilizing, mulching, pruning, maintenance of beds and gardens, and management of outside contractors as needed. Responsibilities also include operation of Toro irrigation, power washing of hardscape, and maintenance of tools and equipment. The position has responsibility for overall property appearance and enjoys a high degree of autonomy. References and criminal background check required.
