Queen City Bistro is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to support our kitchen operations. As a new restaurant, we're building a team that values both excellence in service and the well-being of every employee. This role is essential to our kitchen's efficiency and success, offering a great opportunity to those starting in the culinary field looking to build more skills or looking to join a supportive and professional team.
What We Offer:
Competitive Pay: $15-$16.50 starting pay, based on experience.
Sign-On Bonus: $300, payable after 90 days.
Benefits: Meals on duty and employee discounts
Work-Life Balance: Work days vary from Tuesday to Sunday, with shifts most shifts beginning at 2:30pm and ending at 9:30-10:30pm, or brunch shifts on Saturday & Sunday running from 10AM-4:15PM. Both full-time and part-time opportunities available, with Mondays guaranteed off.
About You:
Experience in a kitchen setting is appreciated but not required; we value willingness to learn and reliability above all.
Ability to manage time effectively, ensuring all dishes are cleaned promptly and kitchen areas are maintained in an orderly fashion.
Key Responsibilities:
Washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently, maintaining a clean workspace.
Assisting with basic food prep tasks as directed by the culinary team.
Ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met throughout the kitchen.
