Job Title: Software DeveloperJob DescriptionWe have an exciting opportunity for a Mid-Level Developer to work in a hybrid capacity at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. You will join a team of experts responsible for providing support in the areas of cyber analysis and cyber development capabilities. Your mission will be to address the needs for Cyber Situational Awareness (SA), Cyber Command and Control (C2), Mission Assurance, and Homeland Defense. Your role will encompass the identification of cyber key terrain by analyzing operational requirements, conducting cyber analyses and assessments, and the development and performance of modeling and simulation in different cyber threat scenarios. Your work will contribute to the development of methodology and framework in support of a cyber risk assessment life cycle. As a Developer, you will be tasked with implementing new features within a critical line of business application, supporting mission assurance and operational management functions. This role will provide you with an opportunity to work and grow your expertise with a team of software engineering and cyber security experts, working to tackle the cyber defense issues of the modern military with creative solutions.Hard Skills

Designing, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and documenting application features and changes

Participating in the development of new systems throughout the entire application lifecycle

Participating in activities that ensure the successful use of these systems

Working in an agile team environment participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews, and daily standups
