Youth for Tomorrow is meeting the needs of children and families by offering a continuum of services as an alternative to the nation's fragmented and overburdened child and family care systems. They are looking for an individual that has a passion to perform to join their team. Other responsibilities would include:
Possessing the characteristics and experience to collaborate with and provide appropriate care to residents, gain their respect, guide their development, and participate in their overall treatment program
Ability to support constructive resident-family visitation and resident involvement in community activities;
Ability to provide services in a culturally and linguistically competent manner;
Possess the temperament to work with and care for children, and youth, some with special needs in multiple age ranges;
Adequate and continuous ongoing training and supervision
Ability to maintain the integrity of the program structure in the absence of House Parent/House Coordinator leadership.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license which meets or exceeds the company's insurance guidelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree is required OR actively, continuously pursuing the degree and able to provide evidence of such
High School Diploma or General Education Development Certificate (G.E.D.) and six months experience working with children
Enroll and successfully complete assigned training and Certification Program for development in our milieu of care
