Primarily, these include lower volume and higher financial impact load growth projects such as new transmission and/or distribution substations, substation expansions and transformer upgrades. Projects can include a limited amount of Transmission lines interface management and coordination. Many projects include extensive customer interface and coordination responsibilities. The successful candidate will ensure project results meet requirements and provides timely and accurate information and status updates to management and internal and external customers. Responsible for complex scope, cost development, complex permitting, work plans, and environmental studies.Responsibilities include: Manage total lifecycle of project from conception to final completion. Complete projects safely, on time, on budget and defect free. Ensure coordination between project teams including Engineering/Design, Construction, Operations, Permitting and Real Estate, Environmental and external customers. Working with SOC to set up outages as required using iTOA. Monitor cost and scheduling using SAP. Update project information systems as required. Approve project expenditures.THIS JOB IS NOT PART OF A PROGRESSION WITHIN A JOB SERIES.Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & ExperienceThe knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:

7-8+ years demonstrated experience in project management, relevant technologies, and in the project area (experience in engineering, construction, or operations desired)

Ability to work and develop rapport with all levels of management and staff.

Ability to perform in a high pace, multi-task environment and to independently plan and organize your work schedule.

Ability to represent the project and the company in public forums.

Strong team building skills.

Effective negotiating skills.

Leadership and coaching skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.

Communication and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively interact and develop relationships with construction personnel, engineering teams, project controls personnel and management.

Ability to manage multiple priorities.

Minimum 3 years SAP Project Systems experience preferred.
