Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a Network Engineer in the Herndon, VA area to support federal customers in their dealings within the Intelligence community. A successful candidate for the Network Engineer will have a well-versed background in routing, switching, and datacenter technologies. The Network Engineer much possess active TS/SCI with a CI or FSP clearance.
Responsibilities for the Network Engineer include:• Support the installation, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of operational systems or networks• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues • Design and develop network configurations • Provide technical support for systems, satellites, network infrastructure, and other I.T. related assets• Work on network infrastructure to deliver business and technology solutions from data, security, mobility, and cloudQualifications for the Network Engineer include:• Active TS/SCI CI Polygraph or Fullscope Polygraph Clearance • 4+ years of experience in network engineering • Experience in IP internetworking, LAN Switching, Routing, IP Routing protocols (IGRP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IS-IS)• Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical problems• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Bachelor's degree and/or relevant work experienceCompensation for the Network Engineer includes:• Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 based on experience/job site• Full Benefits: Cigna, Guardian Dental, Cigna Vision, 401KVacancy expired!
