We are unable to sponsor as this is a permanent full time roleA prestigious fortune 500 company is on the search for a Senior Director Chief Enterprise Architect. This is highly technical, individual contributor position. The client is looking for someone with 15+ years of experience with hands on architecture in Cloud, Middleware, Database, Infrastructure, Platforms, Security, and Governance. They need hands on experience with programming languages such as Java or Python. This also need hands-on experience with some of the technologies including Kubernetes platform, hardware/server/storage, data technology, security platform etc.Responsibilities:
- Define/Contribute to technical guidelines and identify industry trends applicable to the Enterprise capabilities
- Act as counselor to business counterparts, customers, and senior business management on requirements pertinent to the technical capability
- Present and communicate the architecture to various partners, both technical and business, and be able to explain how architecture strategy benefits our company
- Identify and compare alternative solutions to determine the optimal solution that will meet enterprise needs
- Define future Enterprise architecture enhancements and evolutions phases
- Work on unusually complicated problems/production incidents and provide solutions that are highly creative and ingenious
- Provide leadership and guidance in the following:
- Advise external vendors, business owners, and IT groups regarding our Enterprise architecture guideline
- Drive Enterprise Architectural decisions
- Influence key decisions for the technical and infrastructure architecture
- Advise the system and infrastructure configuration from application performance, scalability, and capacity perspective
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Information Technology
- 3 years of work experience in the Enterprise Architecture
- 15 years of hands-on experience in one or more other architecture disciplines, such as Application, Data, Infrastructure/Platform, Security - Application Architecture is preferable
- Experience in various architecture including Cloud architecture, Web-based JEE architecture, SPA architecture, Service-Oriented architecture, Enterprise Application Integration architecture
- Broad experience and knowledge across multiple technologies such as cloud, middleware, database, infrastructure platform, security products, data product, ETL products, rule engines, and BI tools
- 6 years of hand-on experience in two or more programming languages -Java is preferable
- Hands-on experience with some of the technologies including Kubernetes platform, hardware/server/storage, data technology, security platform etc.
- Knowledge in AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, API, Integration/EAI technologies like Informatica, ESB, .NET and related technologies like XML
- Knowledge of common data architecture frameworks, principles and standards
