Maxar is looking to add an experienced Geospatial Programmer. - Bachelor's degree in a related field, e.g. Computer Science, Systems Engineering, etc. or four years of additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
- 8 years of relevant experience
- Strong skills with Python 2 and 3 in a Windows environment
- Strong knowledge of ArcMap 10.x and ArcGIS Pro and GIS principles
- Experience with ESRI desktop development including arcpy standalone scripts, Toolbox development, and Python Toolbox development
- Experience with ArcSDE, PostgreSQL, and geodatabases
- Ability to work closely with analysts and communicate technical solutions to problems and inefficiencies
- ArcObjects development with C#
- Experience using web services, APIs, and JSON
- Experience with imagery software such as Remoteview and ERDAS Imagine
- Exposure to manipulating imagery with Python libraries
- SQLite
