The Intelligence Analysis Mission Integration Department (N922) is seeking an Intermediate East Asia Intelligence Analyst to support our counterintelligence mission within the National Intelligence Program. The Mission Integration Department develops strategies, policies, technical analyses, and tools to enhance the nation’s counterintelligence, counter-insider threat, and counterproliferation mission sponsors. The work requires operating with the senior levels of government, as well as a comprehensive understanding of East Asia region, China, the counterintelligence mission, and the Intelligence Community, particularly the partners and stakeholders in the counterintelligence mission. Roles and Responsibilities:

Work with senior government officials and intelligence professionals to evaluate East Asian geopolitical developments, military strategies, and regional security challenges and develop analytic assessments, strategies, and other documentation.

Track and evaluate geopolitical developments, military strategies, and regional security challenges.

Assess the implications of economic developments on regional stability and international trade.

Basic Qualifications:

Active Top Secret/SCI with current Polygraph.

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with relevant experience who can immediately contribute at this job step; or an equivalent combination of related education and work experience.

Experience within the Intelligence Community (IC).

Strong understanding of East Asian cultures, economies, and national security issues with a focus on China.

Knowledge of the East Asia region with an emphasis on China including societal trends, traditions, and values shaping the East Asia landscape.

Knowledge of analytic tradecraft standards (ICD 203), structured analytic techniques, critical thinking.

Knowledge of HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, and/or other intelligence gathering disciplines.

Experience generating reports, briefings, and position papers.

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong writing and briefing skills.

Proven experience in geopolitical analysis with a focus on East Asia.

Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
