The team is looking for a progressive, team and solution oriented oriented colleague with a growth mindset and commitment to community service, collaboration and business impact.The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing programs and proven experience managing programs and processes in a well-managed way. Additionally, they will be comfortable working in ambiguity, and have excellent communication and presentation skills.The Hiring Our Heroes Program Manager will lead the core Hiring Our Heroes program portfolio and be responsible for program design, implementation and outcomes reports. This associate will work with LOBs to connect the military community, transitioning service members and military spouses, to transferable roles through the corporate fellowship program.Roles and Responsibilities

Lead the Hiring Our Heroes program and expansion, including the program participant and alumni experience

Develop learning strategies and support program content and curriculum development to align on the best possible experience for learners

Consult with and support a portfolio of executives/business leaders to meet growing needs of the program and talent retention needs through Hiring Our Heroes

Develop and document guidelines and best practices for the program, including, program design, associate experience, success measures and outcomes reports, with the intent to scale the program

Create internal and external education & awareness tools for the program (Google Slides, talking points, internal and external blog posts, etc.)

In partnership with the HR Workforce Development team contribute to the workforce pipeline strategy across Capital One including strategy build, theory of change, evaluation and ROI development

Measure program impact through assessments and data analysis, and make recommendations for enhancements

Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and stakeholders

Basic Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience in Human Resources OR at least 2 years of experience in client consulting

At least 2 years of experience in project, program OR process management

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

2+ years of experience in Corporate Recruiting or Campus Programs

2+ years of experience in intern program design and measurement

2+ years of experience in community engagement, corporate volunteerism, or non-profit

Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment

Ability to use innovative techniques to attract and recruit diverse talent

Experience in compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring
