Description We are seeking an IT Manager to join our team based in Norfolk, Virginia. In this role, you will be a crucial part of managing and overseeing various aspects of our IT department within the Non-Profit industry. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Oversee and manage Telecom Expense Management Systems (TEMS) to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of telecom expenses. Identify cost-saving opportunities in telecom expenses and implement strategies to optimize spending. Coordinate and manage charge backs for IT expenses across different departments and ensure accurate and timely processing of charge back reports. Act as the primary point of contact for vendors, handling the procurement process for tech-related products and services, including placing orders and tracking deliveries. Process and reconcile invoices related to tech services and IT equipment, maintaining accurate records of receipts, invoices, and financial transactions for auditing and budget purposes. Provide general administrative support to the IT department, including maintaining inventory of IT equipment and managing asset tracking. Assist with the coordination of IT projects and initiatives as needed. Manage and oversee warehouse operations. Maintain and manage vendor relations and orders. Utilize skills such as Cisco Technologies, Cloud Technologies, CRM, Database, EO/IR systems, Active Directory, Auditing, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management to ensure smooth operations. Requirements Demonstrated proficiency in Cisco Technologies. Solid experience with Cloud Technologies. Proven ability in managing CRM systems. Strong understanding and experience with Database management. Familiarity with EO/IR systems. Hands-on experience with Active Directory. Knowledge of Auditing in an IT setting. Ability to implement and manage Backup Technologies. Extensive knowledge of Computer Hardware. Experience with Configuration Management in IT. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Minimum of five years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the non-profit sector. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
